Which cards can be accepted?
We accept payments from only the following cards - Visa and MasterCard credit cards, Visa Delta and Maestro debit cards.
Is ordering secure?
All credit card orders on our website are processed by Barclays EPDQ on their secure servers. You card details are encrypted at all times through 128 bit SSL encryption, the same high standard as customers use in Internet banking. Payment details are captured within Barclays secure system.
Why do I get a Declined response?
If you get a card declined message, this is issued from Barclays who advise that you should first check that you have entered the correct details. If so and you believe that the decline is incorrect, please contact your card issuer for further information.
How much is shipping?
Shipping costs are added to your order on the screen at the Checkout. They are based on delivery to a single address and are calculated as follows, per individual order: - First bottle (70cl): GBP7.00 - Second and subsequent bottles in the same order: Free of charge - 5cl bottles (ordered by themselves): GBP2.50 per order
Note: 5cl bottles will be shipped free of charge if ordered with one or more 70cl bottle(s).
Can I order from outside Great Britain?
You can ORDER from outside Great Britain for delivery to an address in England, Scotland or Wales. However regret that we cannot, at present, ship any goods to addresses outside Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales).
Can I order a bottle to be sent to a friend as a gift?
Yes, this is one of our most popular requests! Simply change the delivery address to your friend's address (in England, Scotland or Wales) and your order will be sent to them. If you fill in the 'Write Greeting' box when you make your order, the message will be written on a post card of the distillery and included with the gift. All order correspondence, including a copy of the invoice, will be sent to you only.
How do I change the address for orders to be sent to?
First you must add the new address to your personal address book entries in the store. Then order the goods and activate the new address as the delivery address at the Payment Information stage. If you add an address to your address book in the middle of an order just click on Checkout to complete the process.
Can I log into the store if I am a member of Aberlour's Companions Club?
The store has a separate membership from the main website's Companions Club so you will need to join both to get the best value of news, competitions AND to be able to order bottles of your favourite expression. In the store's 'My Account' section, you can opt in or out of receiving occasional news about new additions to the store. |
